im just wandering if i got as good a deal on my winch as i thought i did when i first got it. i bought a warn 8472 winch and a winch bumper from a guy for 200 dollers about 3 months ago i took the winch apart and regreesed everything and put new oil on the gears. the free spool *** is stuck so it wont freespool. i got it all put back together and had to replace the solonoids. that was 60 dollers. now it works great, aside from no free spool. so i spent a total of 260 dollers for my warn 8472 winch and a winch bumper. did i get a good deal

To me that sounds like a good deal. A warn winch for my atv starts out at $400!
