how big of lift for 40's

How big of a lift would i need to fit 40" groundhawgs without any rubbing

i got 38 inch ground hawgs with a 6 inch suspension and 3 body..and i could easily fit 40's without rubbing..however they are going to run when you turn sharp, but thats soemthing every bronco has

hey i gotta question... i have a 1979 ford bronco full size with a 3inch suspension lift with 35s... i was wondering... do u think i could fit 38inch tires on without a bigger lift . i dont get anything rubbing right now but i think if i go with 38s its going to rub pretty bad

yea im sure they would rub

one of my 79s had 38.5x16s with 4" suspension and 2.5" trimmed fender and only rubbed when turning but extreme flex (deaver springs and wristed arm ) wuold likely still rub

sounds like future breakage. better beef your front end a little if you have a lead foot.
