One badass truck I must say, from california, no frame rust(!), especially cool for wisconsin. Has a new(er) 302 ** in it with 15k miles. Body is great, had nerfbar steps, 75% 33s on american racing wheels, includes stock wheels in great shape, XLT, auto, 9" rear, 140k total miles. Cd player and wired for a sub. Cruise doesnt work and never has as long as previous owner has had it. (apparently the switch is common fault. Given this info and this picture, what would you say its worth ballpark. I dont like buying vehicles unless I can get a steal of a deal on them, and for $2000 i think this is.

According to the owner the ** motor is from a mustang, and it has a more aggresive cam and better EFI. What is better about the efi i dont know, looks the same as a stock motor.

I haven't driven it yet as I havent met the owner yet, although I have emailed extensively. I am driving and buying it tommorrow if all checks out at 2 pm, oct 13th. oh man friday the 13th, what a great day to buy a truck :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

By the way since I assume I will indeed buy it and therfore will be here quite a bit, I thought i'd give a little intro.

I'm 21, have had a paying job since I was 8, and have had fossil fuel burning toys since about that same time. Mostly snowmos, dirtbikes, now motorcycles and boats. I go to school at UW Oshkosh for HR management and law. Aspiring to become a professional pilot flying big biz jets. I like to blend the blue and white collar as much as possible and try to follow no set path. Head over heels in love with a stunning nursing student in Oshkosh (9months today!) I've always had japanese cars because I bought into the rep of superior quality and therefore less repair. Well I tell ya what, everything with wheels will break and the damn parts are too exspensive and I HATE ELECTRONICS!!!!! I do all my own maintenance. I'm sad that the bronc in question is efi, was looking forward to a carbed V8. I've never owned a v8 and I cant wait! I'll stop here before it gets so long that no one reads it and the purpose will be lost.

Yeah i read some stuff about the newer broncos having some freaky brake failures so it reminded me to check the line condition on the 86.

still new to owning myself. truck looks great and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine. 2nd day of owning and i am almost ready to fill it up (when i bought it the guy filled it up). just been driving it around to get a feel for it. like you my first big engine and my first big truck. i have always done the modified import thing (yes had rice). This truck has always been something i wanted to play around with since i was a kid. back to my roots i guess. got a great deal on mine at $1400 for an '88 in excellent condition minus the new rear tailgat and front quater panel (different colors). truck runs better then some of the imports i bought. well good luck!
