Anyone have a rack on the hood, for like a shovel and a hi-lift jack? I know it's blastphamy, but I see 'em on jeeps and I want one.

Hey, that's a really good idea. Jeeps are cheap little things and I'm sure you'll love it. How much you want for your Bronco cuz I still need a parts truck for my 88' ?
Now that I'm done giggling let me mention that what you want will most definately be addressed by your states "obstructed view" statutes. I can't see your tagline from the reply screen but even a stock tire with a hi-lift on it will easily obstruct your vision, much less anything oversize. The rigs you've seen them on are trail rigs or the owners remove the setup for street use. The *only* exception would maybe be a RangeRover that came with the setup straight from the factory as an option making it legal (10+ yrs as a LEO, I've *written* those citations) if you can come up with any documentation that Ford ever offered a similar deal then you might could make it fly once you got to court but I really wouldn't advise doing it unless you want to just get it setup & ready and then run it that way when you hit the trail so you have a full-size spare & hi-lift where you'll be sure to see them. Otherwise I'd just look for something I could plug into my reciever hitch instead. You won't look quite so much like a Camel Trophy truck but you'll be able to see where you're going (always a big plus) and avoiding the citations will be a lot more fun.
