All things being equal...

---- NO -----

Some hi-flows only do so at idle & slow speed....

An old plugged system would run hot with 2 water-pumps.. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If you finish your sig. page with all the info./history on your rig...it's much easier to help you.... >

Well if you didnt have a thermostat then yes I believe it would . Reason being the water must stay in the radiator long enough to transfer the heat to the core material if its running through there at a high rate of flow there isnt much time for it to transfer thus increaseing the overall water temp . Really no need for a high flow water pump in my opinion and a thermostat is not an optional part for the same reason , Something must slow the water down to transfer the heat . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If you have a hi flow pump you need a big radiator and the proper thermostat , If you need all that you must have a motor with a big cam and advanced timing too get the hp you need, I have a 302 with a bigger cam and if I set the timimg right I can run all day with a 180 degree thermostat and a 3 row radiator crawling with a fixed fan I am good all day in the heat when I run in the snow I can advance it a pinch and get more hp with the denser colder air and still stay cool for spinning the tires, take what you need this is what I do
