Im sure this has been covered before but...

So my bronco died... motor seized up... oh well... not a big deal... so i found a new bad @$$ truck... my issue is it has 8" of suspension lift and 40's.... i life in NJ unfortunately... our lift laws are very strict i guess, dunno since i dont have an overly large truck... my question is are there any other fellow new jerseyites that have extremely bog trucks that passed the NJ inspection? If so what all mods do yous have and where did you go to get it inspected? i really want to get this truckbut i cant afford to get it if i cant drive it....

also if anyone has a spare set of 36's for sale i need em. and i am parting out the deceased bronco if anyone needs anything... im trying not to ship so local pick up it wil have to be if yous need anything... the truck is in Cherry Hill, NJ

I THINK A 38" tire is as far as you can go, In Maine no larger than 38 is allowed or 8" more than stock. I assume it would be the same for Jersey. In CA if you don't have a 5" body lift your good. Here in CA a 2008 F350 on 40's with 12 inches of lift is small.

I went through the title 39 statutes and did not find anything relating to tire size. If there is a limitation on size, it must be in regulations promugated by the Director.
