I have a 79 Bronco with heat/ac factory installed. Previous owner wired the blower motor up to a toggle switch, which is fine but it will only run at full speed this way. The reason for this is because some of the wiring melted together, probably bare wires touched. The wiring itsnt messed up bad there is only one spot behind the connectors for the controls that is burned.
For now I am leaving the toggle switch until I have time to fix everything. The cotrol rod that lets you pick cool or warm on the controls is gone. the guy took it out of the heater/ac box, how do I go about putting one back in? Right now since it is unhooked and removed it is stuck on the warm side.
Another question, the vent, heat, and bi-level controls work and all the doors seem to be opening and shutting properly, but when I turn it to defrost I feel no air coming out at the dash, how do I fix this and what should I look for?
