I'm just wondering what the stock wheel deminsions were for the 73 models. My dad and I are wanting to get some new wheels and tires, and need to know. The wheels on it right now are pretty big, so they won't allow for a good sized tire.

EDIT: I would also need to know the bolt pattern size and back spacing.

Original tire size is 235/75R15. Approximately 27"x8.5"

Rim size is (and there is a thread running around here debating it) 15x7 or 15x8 either will work for original sizing.

Bolt pattern is 5x5.5 with backspacing at something like 4.

You should be able to call a local Ford dealer and they can look it up in their neat little microfische systems. You can also use stock rims from a CJ-5 or CJ-7. They are identical size except the center hole on the Jeep rims are bigger because they use a bigger hub than Broncos do. But a 15x7 or 15x8 rim will do you good.
