GAUGE CHNAGE OUT

Anybody know how you can get to the back of the instrument cluster? I am trying to get the temp gauge changed out but when I unscrew the four screws holding the whole cluster in there is not enough room to get the cluster out from behind the dash. Any tricks?

The wires should be long enough to let it hang to be able to get to it.

remove the drivers air vent in the engine compartment that will give you some more room.

I removed the 4 screws and then I tilted the bottom toward the firewall and wiggled it out. Mine came down far enough to easily work on the backside of it...
