Gas Tank skid plate.

Went rockcrawling and punched a hole in the tank ( The tank was rusty and the skid plate for the tank is shot .

MY ? , were can I get a gas tank skid pan , the same or better ?

Is there gas tank straps becuase I dont have any ?

Does th 89 351w have two fuel pump cuse I only have one and it aint in the gas tank ?

I ask all this because when I took out the tank and somebody had fixed the old one with a ***** to plug a hole and it might not be the one for this truck.

Yes, the low pressure one is in the gas tank

Better buy a new gas tank while you are at it and if the gauge is freaky, get a new pump and sender. Also while the tank is out, make an access hole in the bed so you can get at the pump and sender without dropping the new tank in the future. You can get a piece of bed material to make a cover for the hole by cutting it out of a junker with a sawzall.

Thats a great idea for the panel . Yeah I need to get anew gas tank skid plat, gas tank , sending unit, pump, lines and it should be done.

Now just some money >

Ill get some picks when she looks alittle better.
