has anyone had this problem, once the fuel line is connected to the rear main tank, fuel won't flow consistently to the pump/carb. Blow into the tank and air flows...

What do you think is wrong?...

Haven't pulled out the float/pickup unit yet.

Also using plastic fuel line.

Any ideas

Thanks for any info/suggestions

"Blow into the tank and air flows..."

This is pretty vague...

"once the fuel line is connected to the rear main tank"

Where exactly are you making this disconnect/connect..?

You should do it fr. the inlet hose leading up to the fuel pump.

Should be able to blow air easily (by mouth) all the way back, & bubble in tank.

Also.., if you can blow air back thru the fuel pump, (fr. the outlet side) the pump is weak.

{Faulty check valve(s)}

HOWEVER.., the screen could still be in place on the fuel pick-up (inside tank)...& mostly plugged.., creating a restriction but still allowing air-flow.

"Also using plastic fuel line."

This is fine if you mean the original factory line.
