Hi guys, im here again with my bronco making me pull my hairs. my 79 bronco cant seem to deliver fuel to the carb, it stalled when running on the highway, i opened the hood and the fuel filter empty. when she felt like starting i would get home. first thing i replaced was the fuel pump for a carter unit, it didnt work. next i relaced the carb's float-seat-valve in the bowl, id didnt work either. i went crazy and bought a sending unit and dropped the gas tank, and flushed the fuel lines. i found the tank was really clean so i had it flushed and put the sending unit in, it also dodnt work. after all this i was determined to tackle another fuel pump swap, i replaced the carter with an AIRTEX unit, and now i cant even go to the hardware store cause the carb will dry out before i get there. i dont know what else to do, please can anyone help? i really love my girl and she's the only ''sunburst'' free wheeler i have seen with al the goodies, even ruise control. she is a beauty. please....anybody have this happen to them?
