Hello all,
I've posted in a few other topics already but I figured I would tell you about my Bronco. I bought it last week for $650 after seeing an ad on another site (I forget which one) from a guy that lives about 150 miles away from me. I looked at it and found the A/C compressor, starter, exhaust pipes, alternator, radiator, and tranny cooler were all out of it. He had started doing a restoration job on it and ran out of time.
Right now it's got a stock suspension and the original 351M/400 with a holley 4 barrel and Edelbrock performer intake. The body has 3 minor spots on it where the paint is blistering and on rust spot. The body work can be done in a day or so. The interior is almost perfect. Ultimately, I plan on changing the colors from green to blue and black. I think I got a great deal on it and it runs like a dream. I took it out and drove to Denver (about 100 miles from my house) and back. It purred like a cat the whole way.
I plan on doing a lot of work to it in the drivetrain and suspension. By the time I'm done with it, the motor will be a firebreathing dragon and it will be sitting on about a 12" lift with 44" TSL Super Swampers. Look for pictures soon.
