They were street-legal but the extra 2 or 3 ponies seemed worth the hassle at the time. Look thru the archives and you'll spot this very same discussion 5 or 6 weeks back. Unless you want to annoy your neighbors, the people driving next to you & attract the attention of Joe Cop then these aren't very usefull on anything *other* than a truck that's driven both on the road AND in competition and even then, unless you're sporting a well-built engine you aren't going to see any significant power or torque gains by using one (or two if you run duals)
