Comp cams makes a very good cam for a computer controlled 351W ( 5.8L ) Cant think of the part number right off its like 255 something but if you call them they will hook you up I used it in mine and its very snappy . If you dont use something close to what the EEC is programmed too it will not work right , :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

i have this cam from isky racing. i am useing it in a 95 351w. u will need a roller cam for your engine if it is like mine and i think only 94 and up windsor engines are roller. so this cam is made for the 5.0 ** engine. i used the stage 2 cam Part#: 371257/265 in my truck. i love it lots more torque. and the computer handles it ok u might just want the RV cam though probably will do better with the stock computer. i got fordracing lifters from jeggs. u will need to retain the stock lifter set up. let us know what u want to do and what u wanto get out of your truck performance wise for us to help out better. :-B

oh with the new cam u will eather need longer pushrods or a shim kit for your rocker arms. as the rocker arms are not adjustable i chose to get the longer push rods.

i also choose to take out my engine to do the cam swap. i used the ford racing gasket set from jegs and i worked out great. i reccomend replaceing the oil pan while there they allways rust out on them.

hereis a pic of when i had my engine apart :D

i didn't even havto wash out the lifter vally. it was that clean at 119,000 miles when i did the cam swap
