Buying a 67 - Advice Needed Please

Hello,

New here, nice forum.

I've wanted an EB for most of my life, Never had too much cash to get one...

I found one close to me but it's pretty rough.

I plan on doing a frame off, long term project.

I have a complete EFI 302 for it and a line on a C4, also found a d44 already.

It would be great to get some opinions on this before I pull the trigger.

This is about all I know so far:

1967

289

3 spd.

runs and drives

Body is rough (rotted rockers, some floor pan rot, dents etc...)

No top

Frame is solid (so i'm told)

I can get it for $750

What do you guys think?

Buy it !! If your going to do a long term project starting at $750 is the best way to go. You will end up replacing almost everything anyway. Goodluck

Yep, I say buy it or else i will!!! Just be sure it has a clear title and check the VIN number before you spend any money on resto work.

Did some come with no window frame? Or might these have been removed?

Also, the sag on the windshield...? Isn't that supposed to be rigid?

68 was the last year of bolt on windshield and door frames. I have seen them on Ebay in the past. For more specs check out this link.

Yeah, I was just looking at them.

Should be a great project, the body looks straight and you have all the major parts there.

What are you plans? full resto? trail rig? engine swap?

I plan to make it a good looking daily driver that I can take out wheelin when I want to.

If you arn't going to take it off road much then don't cut the fenders. An un-cut Bronco is getting hard to find.

Buy it, by all means, buy it!!!! That bronco is probably better than you think. This is a link to my site that has a few more links for bronco parts. The other links listed are probably the best one though.
