Hello, first post to this forum, how ya'll doing!!?? I recently bought a 66 Bronco that it loks like someone slapped together just to get by...barely! I put a new wiring harness in it because of how riddled it was with shorts. No Brake, Back up, Neutral or reverse switch in it and I thought I'd at least put a brake switch back in it. How does it mount and is there a picture or diagram showing it's proper placement?

Hi there flipya...

hmmm a 66 with no lights huh??

First off what year is the harness for?

The 66 will have no provisions for automatic trans (neutral safety and reverse)

They never had back up lights ( the switches were mounted to the column under the hood,) the reverse/ first shift lever near the bottom of the column engaged the switch in the later manual trucks.

The brake light switch ( I believe) was actually mounted to the single reservoir master cylinder, so there shouldn't be a provision for it on your brake pedal bracket.... ahhh the joys of up grading... it never ends!!
