Hey Yall,

I just bought a 90 eb 5.8L bronco for a decent price the other day and for the most part its in good shape but I was hoping yall could give me a little help.

Seeing how it is a 16 year old truck, what should I look into replacing as far as for regular wear and tear? I already changed the battery and air filter. I added some oil gunk through that helped the engine and I'm probally going to change the spark plugs soon. What other normal stuff should be done?

Only problem I'm having with it is that It almost always takes 2 turns of the key to start it up. If its pretty cold or I havent been driving it for a while sometimes it will start on the first try, most times it will take twice. When it starts up sometimes it will idle a little rough at first, maybeee turn back off. But once I put it into gear and drive it runs really smooth.

I had it down at Aamco the other day they looked at it said they couldnt find anything wrong and of course it started up for them everytime on the first try.

From what I've read around on boards and such people are suggesting the o2 sensor, fuel pump, starter? Anyone know???

Thanks for the help

Chang plugs, check egr, do a brake job, check brake master cylinder for leaks, check for oil (tranny and motor oil) leaks from valve cover gaskets, pan gaskets. Good luck.
