Boss 302

My neighbor just brought home a early Bronco, I think it is a 69. It has a decal with Boss 302 on the air cleaner. Did Ford put them in some of their Broncos? If so, were they very common?

Nope, the Boss never came available to the Bronco. if it has an air cleaner with a sticker that says "Boss 302" then the air cleaner came off of a Boss and isn't original. The only air cleaner that came on EBs looked like this:

I only took a look at it late last night and it was dark. It looked like a 2 barrel carb, the air cleaner is pretty flat and hangs off to the passenger side. It looks like a stock air cleaner and it has ribs on it and a heat riser. It very well could be just a sticker. Thanks

Yeah, sounds like someone put a Boss sticker on an EB air cleaner. No big deal.

Not only does the sticker make it look cool, but it makes it go faster as well. If you really want to go fast, put some chrome on it somewhere. I hear chrome added at least 10-15 horsepower. AHHHWWW, Im just kidding!!
