Beware of trash advertising. it gets the best of us.

(I understand here that i'm not a mod) but It's important to note that while the website needs to make revenue, these advertising agencies which post adds on here are noting our keywords, and are very deceptively trying to clickbait us into websites which are not a part of the group. Most the time it's okay, hopefully it just redirects to rockauto, but some will not. A keen eye will detect this, but some sites or links will not be okay at all. i spent a little bit of time noting the advert sites on here tonight. Always keep an eye on the URL up top or in the link posted by another user. Keep in mind when you are clicking on a link that it's outside of this site and think about if it's a reputable source. Always keep an eye on advertising and how it works it's way into what looks like a legit link... It's worth noting that everyone needs to keep safe and remember what is a legitimate link, one that is taking us outside of the protected zone of this site. Just my 2c here. i normally run an add blocker, but got a new computer and was surprised at the clickbait that was going on, previous to doing the same thing. stay safe ya all.
