I just bought a Bestop top for my Bronco. I was planning on running the soft top during the summer and the hardtop during the winter. After realizing how much work it is to take the inserts in and out, I was wondering how well the soft tops will keep the heat in during the winter? (Kansas).

Also, if I ever add A/C, will it keep up with a soft top?

You're going to find out this winter aren't ya...!

The coldest of winter days here......if there's any sun at all, I barely need the heater due to the "black top". (BTW, these heaters will blast you out)

I think you'll be fine either way.

Don't know 'bout air....had air in my '73 .....it was adequate at best at 110deg. here in the desert.
