The chances of finding a used tail gate that old without rot ire extremely slim. The ones in that condition are more than likely mounted on a truck that wants to keep them. As previously mentioned you can find an aftermarket tail gate at the Bronco Grave yard http://www.broncograveyard.com or LMC Truck http://www.lmctruck.com

hello there tailgater. i do have one from a 79 bronco thats for sale. its in awesome condition but has no electric or motor and glass. its 70's orange and white with the exterior tire mount. as the others have said these are hard, hard to come by so i'll let it go for 300.00 as it sits. i will not ship, cash pick up for this item. for another 50.00 i'll throw in a motor and glass. i'm in Pa. 18951. good luck my friend.The chances of finding a used tail gate that old without rot ire extremely slim. I have a full 78-79 Bronco shell new in the box. It doesnt have anything inside of it, or an access panel. I ordered it offline and they sent me one that I wasnt satified with and then when I called the on it they sent me another without asking for theirs back. The one I have is bent on the bottom right and left corners just a little. Probably from rough handling during shipping. Ill take $200 for it. Its primer black and has been stored in my garage since I got it. Still in its original package. Its basicly new! I paid a little over $400 for the one I bought offline, shipping included. Im in eastern NC if your interested.
