AIR pump Bypass

hey guys i am gettin a hissing sound from my AIR pump because i put on a custom exhaust with long tubes and no cats, so its just blowin out, will it hurt anything if i put a smaller belt on and just bypass the AIR pulley, I am askin because I noticed one of the tubes goes to the exhaust (cat) and one goes around the back of the motor, I wasnt sure if the one on the back of the motor would affect anyting if this was bypassed

I did the same thing to my Bronco with no problems. There was actually a bunch of emissions stuff I could remove that was associated with that air pump. I'll post the size belt I run now when I get home...you may be able to find it somewhere though.

I would apprecaite it if you could gimme that belt size, cause this on and off hissing is gettin annoing as ****, lol

It's a 5060910..should be able to get that at any local auto parts store. What's the stock one?
