? about atomatic and 4speed

Does the 4speed have a short driveline between the trans and transfercase or the marriage between the trans and the transfercase. I was asking because the automatic has the marriage between, but I'm not sure if the manual does.

yes in a bronco the 4spd and t/case are married, the adaptor between them is longer, and the t/case is in the same position
