A little help with the EB

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to broncos, but have been coming to this board as a guest for a couple weeks now. I am still looking for a candidate to build a trail rig out of, and I'm pretty sure I want a '72+ for the D44 front axle.

Alright, enough about that, now my question:

Were there certain bronco packages with the wheel wells fully open? (see pic for better idea of what I mean)

Or do they have to be cut?

The only "new" Bronco that came cut or had an open wheel well was the Stroppe. They had both the front & rear wheel wells cut to fit a larger tire & wheel combo. A Stroppe Bronco was kind of like the "Shelby" version that was done with Mustangs.
