I have put a 94 mustang 5.0L ** in my 77 and it stalls when put in gear. anyone know if my C4 is acceptable. I scaned it and 11 codes came up 10 of which were tranny related. is there a relay or curcit "loop" I need ? any help would be great

Well, I'll admit to being a little weak in this area but I know a little. Your C4 is kinda weak to be bolted to a 94' ** unless you've had it rebuilt & beefed up. An AOD would be a much better choice because that 4th gear will make a big difference but hey, you've gotta work with what you have. You 94' was never intended to run with a C4 so I'm not surprised it's throwing a dozen or so codes at you. What's the history ? did it ever run well or has it been like this since you swapped it in ? What did this ** *used* to have behind it ? Might be that you need either a chip or a stand-alone to make it run right. Sorry I don't have more, that's just what I'm thinking off the top of my head.

If you are using a computer from an auto trans car, you may want to try using a manual trans car computer, the auto trans computer is going to be looking for the sensor inputs from the trans. Not sure if this would make it stall or not but it may solve the codes problem.
