89 Tranny Help

Hi I parked my bronco in the yard and let it sit there for about a month. When I went out to move it it had sank into the sand. I tried to get it out but could not. I had a wreker come pull me out. Know the problem is that it own shift out of first gear. I put a rebuilt tranny in it of the last winter and only put about 500 miles on since. Any ideas to what it could be? I checked the electrical plug on the side it is still pluged in. By the way it is the a4od. Help <_<

Well I was hoping for something. I called the tranny shop and they said that I should have it tested on the computer.

Not to be negative but I'm not sure there's a lot to say. Unless someone here is an actual paid tranny mechanic I'd say that the E4OD is one of those black magic & voodoo sort of trannys and you either invest the time & money in learning how it works & how to rebuild it or you pay someone else who has. Trust me, I/m not being a **** I'm in the same damn boat with my AOD.

Thanks I have been putting time into trying to figure it out. The thought is that I valve is stuck. Just confused because it worked just fine when I parked it.
