I have a chance to buy an 81 Bronco 2 for 2200 dollars. Right now I have a 88 Ranger that will be sold. I know how to word on vehicles and want it for some serious trail riding and big mud holes. It's on its second motor, it runs everything works even the 4wd, tried it my self in the rock parking lot. Motor turned over about 5times and fired right up and ran smoothly. I took it for a drive, it ran pretty well, shifted smoothly through all gears, no unusual noises or shakeing. Is this rig worth it to buy or is it too old?thats what I'm worried about. If something breaks I can probably fix it but is there things that just seem to fail at the 20-25 year old mark like the computer or the transmission, or lights quit working.

Wait a second, I'm not positive it's a b2 <_< . It's definately a full size rig, not the smaller ones. Could the full size one's be B2's? I just called about it and the lady said it's a 1981.
