I just bought a 75 Bronco and am beginning work on it. The only place where there is a lot of rust is one of the fuel tanks. This rust is causing a fuel leak from the tank directly underneath the driver's seat and am looking to buy a new tank to replace it. I haven't found a manual for a 75 Bronco to buy yet, so I am trying to get some info from you all. Can anyone give me some info on what type of tank I am lookin for and advice on replacing the old one. (Also, anyone know a good place to look for a manual?)

I have found some tanks for early broncos but I am not sure if they are compatible with mine. Any info will help.

Thanks a lot.

Trawler..,

1st.., clean around those fittings in the rear (hoses/fittings, etc.) & then see if you can spot the leak there.

The sending unit is the usual leak....but it all can be repaired.

I would pull the tank & be sure it's the prob. if nothing shows up around all the fittings/hoses (those tanks are Polyethylene & pretty thick) There is a steel skid plate. Takes approx. 15-30 min. to get it out.

I just re-built one...pretty simple.

Tom's .., Wildhorses..., JBG.., etc. (where are you...?) they all have books , & tanks
