I am running a 302 with a Holley 4412 carburator. The other day while stuck in traffice the Bronco died and will not keep idle. I can turn the engine over but is will immidiatly die. I have gotten the engine to idle for period of time however at a very high RPM. I have checked for vacumn leaks and found none. I suspect the problem might be in the manual choke or stock fuel pump I have. Does any one have any ideas for me.

Thanks,

Bill

definately change the fuel filter, its the easiest quick check. Then start blowing out the lines and by pass the fuel selector (if have one). Then check to see if the fuel pump is sucking by putting you finger up there and feel for suction and the other will push. If that all checks out look into cleaning the carb. A needle is probably clogged.
