Well, 3 more weeks here and i will be home with my wife and my bronco. My wife picked the bronco up the other day. What a great woman.

I have come to a few decisions and want to run them by you guys. It is an uncut 69 bronco sport. The guy i bought it from for 1500 has had it for the entire time so i am the second owner. I am going to cut it. I have already ordered part of the lift. I am going to go 3 1/2 inches on the suspension piece mealing the lift together. I cant afford a whole kit that i want all at once so i am going to buy it in parts and wait to put it all together.

I am going to pull the body so that i can media blast the whole frame and durabak it. I have por 15 that i am going to coat the inside of the frame with.

The body requires very little work, so i am going to replace the one rear brake light area and sand the whole body down to paint. I am going to use a bed liner for the whole inside.

I will run 33 inch tires and plan on doing moderate wheeling. I am going to use the power steering out of a 79 f-150. The brakes will be upgraded also to disc.

The motor still runs great, so i will wait to do anyting to the 302. Except maybe a new carb. I have been considering the Holley truck avenger. when/if the engine gets tired i will stroke it and go to efi.

The roll cage is still another big? I would like to build it myself. I am an underwater welder and have a great mig welder so i could do it. The tube bender is an issue. If i get a decent/cheap tube bender i could also build the front and rear bumper. I have a 10,000 pound electric winch i will mount. I plan on running a dual battery set up.

I am also going to do h pipe dual exhaust with the flowmasters.

Wow i cant wait, 16 months away from home is too long. Just looking forward to being back home.

Thanks guys

That's a good one. I believe Justshootme84 just finished doing a full blown roll cage last fall. You might want to talk to him also.

:D/ :D/ Welcome back :D/ :D/

Good luck,

:)>-
