i have a 77 and the heater runs but not getting any air blowing to the floor or to the defrost.

any suggestions on where to start. also my fuel gauge will not work. i only have the main tank installed the aux is gone. all other guages work fine.

Joe,

To get heat you need to pull the 2nd and 3rd knobs out all the way, to change from floor to defrost the first **** needs to be pulled out. The middle ****/cable controls airflow through your heater box if pulling it out doesnt allow air to flow, I would suspect a faulty cable or stuck flap in the heater box.

As for the fuel gauge, do you still have the dash switch in place for the tanks? Have you tried both positions?

If you are only using the one tank any way, you can bypass the switch by chasing the wiring...

If memory serves me correctly, you can connect the two orange wires at the dash switch and bypass the switch completely.
