After receiving the radiator, found it comes with a cap labeled 0.9 (bar) which is 13psi. Guess they need to update their online specs that states it ships with 16psi cap.

It’s the cap that comes with the Champion radiator, which is why I’m debating using it or not. The rest of the cooling system is being replaced with Motorcraft parts So no old men being taken off their meds 😂

I concur, I am planning on replacing the entire cooling system even down to water pump, heater core etc while I’m in there. Thanks for the reply!

Hey All, Did some digging and found some people are running 16lb Radiator caps compared to the OEM 13lb caps. I'm replacing my OEM Radiator with a Champion Alu. radiator and it comes with a 16lb Cap. Just want to see if anybody has any negative experiences with the higher psi rad cap...
