Same problem but replaced cap and rotor, runs like a dream.

I have a 2 wheel drive. went to 4 wheel parts, and bought there least expensive shocks, they work perfect. 

Also try and bleed the brakes, similar happened to me, bleeding fixed the problem.

Thanks, No the engine did not overheat, rarely get over 190.  Tried to look and feel, but nothing. I will check the intake. Like the truck a lot 2nd owner, 93000 miles runs perfect.  Like it to last longer until have to put 4.0 in it.

Changed radiator and all hoses. Developed a leak back of engine Runs over clutch  cover. Can't see or feel it.  Any Idea',s???
