So my trusty 82 Bronco is giving me fits. ( she may just be jealous of the Heep I mean Jeep I have been working on. )
Symptom 1: It will drive on high way does fine, Get off high way and she will do ok for a bit then start to sputter and stall. If I put my foot in it I can usually get past...
So as I recently fixed my tailgate glass.
I learned the hard way that if you can't drop the tailgate with the glass up you cant put it back up either.
So with that said I did find a quick and easy way of pulling the tailgate glass in a junk yard w/o having to fight through manually fighting it...
Ok so she seems to be running much better but still have lots of problems.
In fixing her I have found that the oil pan has a hole the size of my thumb (about an inch)
I also have a crack in my TCase
I think I can fix the Crack with some jb weld has anyone else dealt with this?
How easy is it...
So I am new to these forum things
Here's the deal
when I start the truck it starts and idles fine
when I put it in gear and start to Reverse or Forward it dogs down
It feels like it skips time or is not in time. Could a vacuum leak cause this.
Once the truck has been driven awhile it runs...
Just bought our new toy and after all the Usual tune up stuff I can't for the life of me get this 302 to run right.
What I did
Plugs/Wires/Cap/Rotor
New Battery
New Filters
The Truck also seems to dog down at a standing start?
I am just jumping back into the 4x4 race and need a push
