Well, I havent been a big active part in the BZ community, but I have taken it to its full advantage. Thank you guys for this.

However, I think its time for me to move on trucks.

I bought this about a month and a half ago for $1500 and ive done routine things as needed. Waterpump, oil pump, oil pan gasket, oil change starter selenoid, ect.

Its an 86, 4wd, 302. Its the XLT Eddie Bauer edition.

I think it has the AOD transmission. Its got a 3" body and suspension lift. 33" Wild Country TXR with about 50% tread. It has four 8" lights on top of a Carr light bar, never been hooked up. Two square lights on the push bar in front. It has a Kenwood stereo, and a badass PA/CB system with speakers and whips. And it does pull HARD to the right, it needs the drop axles that should've been replaced when they did the lift.

It has the steps on the side, and they rebuilt the essentials inside, in like December, but I think they were used parts. It has 107k, but the speedometer doesnt work all the time, so its probably a little more. Anyways.

Its just not what im looking for, so what do you guys think its worth?

it all depends on the buyer, you get that steering and speedo issue looked at and some excited kid might pay you up to $3000. anyone else would be in the 1000-2000 range

On these old trucks, condition is everything. Mileage is a crap shoot because the odometer only goes up to 99999. Any rust above the rear wheel wells, on the tailgate, and at the bottom of the front fenders? A rust free truck is kind of rare at this age and would be much more valuable.

As far as rust, its pretty good, yo. Surface bubbling on the bottom of the door, and the piece were the door and quarter panel piece connects is a bit, but for its age it actually really looks good. I was thinking about $2,000 pretty firm. Would that be adequate? And would it be any more worthful if I included a plow without the mounts on the truck? Like just the plow?

I see a lot of rot that is hidden just starting to break the surface. What that means is that I see that there is some serious lower A-post rot, B-post rot, and rear tub support as well as tail gate support rot all starting to show through the surface. That means there is a lot more below the surface. You probably will be lucky to recover the $1,500 you spent if the buyer knows what he is looking at. All the bubbling means a lot more is going on under the surface. Otherwise, If the buyer isn't too aware, you might get a couple bucks extra for it.

Good luck,
