Update: I found a 1969-1970, 429-2V Ford Mercury air cleaner lid that fits the dimensions of the air cleaner base I have. it came from an air cleaner that uses the same air filter as the 1986 Bronco XLT, 351W; it seems like a bunch of 1969-1986 Ford models used the same air filter. I'll find out more when I receive the lid...
