Vehicle Cutting Out

We have an 85 Bronco II that was just purchased as a winter beater. When driving down the road, the entire truck will just shut off. It'll start right back up, but it totally cuts out in the middle of driving. Is there a common known problem that causes this?

try wiggling the wire harnesses with it running. some common places are the distributer connector and the left fender well connnectors.
