I have a 1990 full-size bronco and was checking to see if you need the special T-connector for connecting a 7 wire trailer connector.

Publication Date: JULY 14, 1989

LIGHT TRUCK: 1990 BRONCO, F-150, F-250, F-350

ISSUE: Trailer tow wire harness color codes have been revised to be compatible with SAE color code standards. When hooking up a vehicle to a trailer that has been wired according to the SAE standard, the wire color/circuits will match.

ACTION: Refer to the following Circuit Color Code Chart for the correct color/circuit usage.

i have a 91 bronco and i am not gettting any power to my plug for the trailer and im not sure where or how to look for the problem. any hints or advise??

YO CHOPS,

Check Fuse 4

but since you did not mention that any ext lights are out such as brakes and turn signals,

Check for power and Grounds with a test lamp or meter using this Wiring Diagram in 87-91
