Picked up a 1993' Bronco XLT with 168K miles.. was a 1 owner title transfer.. last inspection/reg was 2006.. was used for abit on a farm in central NJ..

3.55 LS rear..5.8L, 6300 GVW w/towing package.. quad front shocks, stabilizer shock, 5 leafs on the rear.. two tone paint.. Black and Smoke Metallic (Gray).. E4OD Trans..

First pics.. the day I gave the guy $400 to hold it for 2 weeks.. was $1200 total..

Had a rusted thru Vac Cannister and needed some sludge cleaning and TPS and IAC cleaning (high idle)..

And now with the Go Industries Knockdown and some lights.. new General Grabber AT2's (31x10.5Rx15LT).. Fresh 2/2015 NJ inspection..

The treads pretty nice on the AT2's and they ride smooth IMHO..

Still has the typical rust above the rear wheel wells.. which is on my list of to-do's.. and the front radiator support is shot on the corners..

Farm life probably saved it from a few years on those salty Jersey roads... Check the rear hangers on the leaf springs, as they seem to be the first to go.

The underneath is good.. all the body mounts are clean.. the hangers have scaling of rust but I am doing the truck front to back with a rust stripper wheel and then some Rustoleum Restorer/Converter paint/coating..

Heres some of the mounts.. not to bad at all IMHO..

Welcome to the Zone :D/ >. Not too badly rusted of a North East truck. You can get replacement metal from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard http://www.broncograveyard.com or LMC Truck http://www.lmctruck.com.

Good luck,

Looks good. It will last a few years as long as you got the rust stopped first.

Good luck,
