Can anybody describe what actually happens inside lockers and limited slips? I know the difference between the two, but I'd like to know how the clutches sense wheel slip, etc. (This is much more of a curiosity question than a need to know question). I've noticed my Detroit Locker locking and unlocking between forward and reverse. I know that it's normal, but what's going on inside? While were on the subject, how does an open differential shift power from wheel to wheel?
