If you were happy with your prior Rancho lift it looks to me, from pics that I've seen, that the Pro Comp lifts use the same type of bracketry as the old Rancho kits did and they seem to have a good reputation. A lot of people are sold on the BDS kits and they have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

Pro Comp, Bronco Graveyard, Rough Country and Superlift all have kits. Unfortunately I have no personal experience with them and cannot choose one over another.

as an auto is a system - change 1 aspect, it effects all others. The answ "I wanna three, four inch lift." should come from some research that indicates this change due to an over all plan on a certain application for the whole rig. " 3 or 4" inches is a wide open assessment. Is it 3? 4? 3.5? Y?
At any rate, springs, shocks, tires, shackles, bushings, driveline angles, (if going upa bit on tire size) increased unsprung weight, drive shaft changes/effects issues all need assessment~

I just ordered a lift kit for my '95. I did a lot of research before choosing the Pro Comp Stage II 4 inch lift from 4 Wheel Parts. I went with the radius arm kit rather than the drop brackets that use the stock radius arms, simply because I had good luck with long arm kits vs. stock control arms on previous Jeeps that I have owned in the past. I went with the add-a-leaf/lift block option. I would have preferred going with full lift leaf springs, but that was a good bit more money. Plus, I figure if I just hate the add-a-leaf with blocks, I can always pick up some BDS full leaf springs in the future. For my purposes, right now, I think the add-a-leafs will be fine.

Here's a link to the kit I bought:

A lot depends on your budget. If you have money to spare, I'd probably give a serious look at the BDS kit. If you are on a budget, I hear good things about Rough Country, and the Bronco Graveyard kit looks pretty nice for the money as well. I went middle-of-the-road with the Pro Comp kit.

Whatever you do, CALL in before you place an order! You can talk to a real live human and ask for any discounts that do not show up online. 4 Wheel Parts took about $300 off their online "shipped to" price. I just told them I was shopping around for the best deal. and the guy really hooked me up. They want your business!

Hope this helps.

Thank you I agree with your statement on the radius arms you gain allot of front wheel travel with them, all in all it seams like a very good kit on my last two rancho kits I had the add a leaf that worked fine let me know the ride quality when you get a chance. Thanks again
