Filling transfer case?

Got my trans and transfer case back together. Do the stock C6 and transfer case need to be filled separately? I've filled until the dip stick shows correct, but don't want to burn anything up if I need to add fluid separately to the case. Any knowledge would be appreciated...

I found the fill plug and it was a booger to fill since you can't really use a funnel. I had an empty bottle of lysol toilet cleaner and it had an angled neck with a good spout. I cleaned it well then filled it with ATF and after making a bit of a mess got it topped off. Thanks for the charts.
