I need to replace the door post on the drivers side. Severe rust and sagging of the door. Any tips on how to approach this? I have the replacement door post, but not sure where to start.......

How about posting a picture or two of the situation. I replaced the lower section of my door posts this past Summer. However, it was done in conjunction with replacing a section of the driver side floor board and the rocker panels. From what you said, I suspect that you need to do more than the door posts. For the most part I used structural epoxy and blind rivets instead of welding. The reason being is that welds are the location that the majority of rust starts attacking your truck due to galvanic action. A couple of pictures to encourage you:

Good luck,

:)>-
