3 speed trans with 302

I have a 75 bronco, and I’m doing a body off resto. My thoughts on this re build would be to keep the 3 speed on the column because 1- not many vehicles have 3 on the tree 2- it’s just dam cool. But I’m worried about the drivability of this setup. 302, 3:50 gears, 3 on the tree. I’m just curious what people’s thoughts are on this.

Change the gears to 3:73 and you'll be golden.
