    91 Bronco cranks wont start

miesk5's responses are so... right on. I didn't read through it, but considering that your battery light came on before it stalled, I'd consider a blown alternator. try giving that a smell. Perhaps disconnect it and see if she'll start. Puling codes is a good place to start looking

88 Bronco 5.0 surges when RPMs go over 2000

In miesk5's first response to you, he included a link on how to test for codes when the CEL is burnt out. Did you do that? It can be done with either a volt meter, or a 12V test light. I snipped this from a instructional I wrote a long time ago. It starts at post #5...

88 Bronco 5.0 surges when RPMs go over 2000

When you turn the ignition key ON the CEL and other lamps light. Do they then turn off? If I read your posts correctly, the CEL... NEVER turns off. I think that you really need to track that down. Regarding a rough idle, perhaps you have a misfiring cylinder. Perhaps you have crossed wires, or...

Fuel Pump Fun & Steve’s Access Panel

VSS has nothing to do with your pump. You jumped the pump. What do you mean? How did you do it? If you applied power and ground directly to the pump, then you got a bad part.

    fuel gauge not working

Welding is not in my skill-set, so i'd probably just use JB-Weld, and cover it with flex seal. Most of the cutting can be done with a pair of tin snips. Regarding dropping the tank, IIRC, it has a 40 gallon tank, and depending upon the amount of fuel in it, it could crush your chest. Most drain...

    fuel gauge not working

An option to dropping the tank is to create an access panel. Certainly there are links to how to do that. Personally I would follow that route. Remember to use a plastic or brass punch when removing the sending unit from the tank.

    Need Suggestions

I suppose that you can pull the ignition lock cylinder, and bring it to a lock smith who can make it so that you don't need a key. THen you can simply turn the key/switch to ON/RUN and push the start button, or totally eliminate the start button, and just turn the ignition switch to Start!

    I agree with @Skitter302

    Clunk/clicking sound while driving slow.

That is a significant clunk. YOu need someone locally to help you localize where it is coming from.

This has to be a joke. I shine a flashlight on my engine, and it never starts to turn over.

    1996 Bronco Electrical nightmare

If you could supply pictures, that would be helpful. If not, then you need to use MANY more words in your description to paint a picture of your problem so that we can help.

    Defoger

LOL... if we had to pay a mechanic for everything that fails on 30-40 year old vesicles, they'd cost us more than they are worth. :)

    electric waterpump vs. centifugal waterpump

Miesk5, I'd bet that would do the trick. It's a shame that some try to upgrade and the salesman doesn't know enough about his product to properly advise the buyer.
