Hi All, Well this ones got me stumped... I'm getting excessive engine vibration at idle in park/neutral and throughout the rev range while driving and no koeo or koer codes except the pass code. I thought it might be the crankshaft position sensor but unfortunately I do not have one, which...

    Intermittent check engine light

HI miesk5, Thanks for info, I bought a new scan tool that can run KOER wiggle test. Currently the truck is not throwing the check engine light, I will probably have to wait until it does to get any codes while running the test. I will give it a try anyway, just to see what it says. Thanks again

So my "Ford code reader" probably won't do the KOER wiggle test, I think I need a real OBD1 scan tool, any recommendations?

    Intermittent check engine light

The manual for my "Ford code reader" doesn't give instruction for a KOER wiggle test, only for KOEO. Should I just follow the KOEO instructions except with engine running? Sorry for noob question, never done the wiggle test.

Steering wheel not straight after steering box replacement

Hi miesk5, Thanks for the info, Wondering if it's possible that something in the steering gear, steering shaft or column got bent when torquing pitman arm nut (torqued to 210ftlbs haynes spec said 190-230ftlbs)? Thanks again for your help

Steering wheel not straight after steering box replacement

Hi miesk5, Yes everything was lined up straight and locked during disassembly and reassembly. All notches lined up same as they did the first time. Only big difference this time was I had to take drag link off pitman arm.
