My signal switch had developed some play in it resulting in my wipers not responding with out a wiggle of the lever and I lost the front signal lights and the signal in my mirrors.

Thanks, I got the door from a local vendor but I've seen some good buys on ebay for new aftermarket doors for under a 100bucks, its worth a try for that price.
Added a base coat of green today, this isn't the same green I'm using for the finish but something to seal the body work. Now I will wet sand this in the morning and start all over again.

Just as well cause the factory gauge is a fake, as you found out - it reads 1/2 way (determined by a resistor) when grounded out as the sending unit is just a switch - on or off.
So the illusion of more power. Really because your coming off a single and going to a one in and 2 out muffler you would get the same sound with a single 3" exhaust and have less to drag off road. And unless the inlet on your muffler is 3" you did little to help the flow. Now for duals to work...
LOL, and the progress continues (more pics added) Discovered my rad support was getting soft so I'm ordering a new one tomorrow - might as well do it now I guess.
that is right, with the stock cam! But run a better cam with more lift, and 1.7 rockers unless you cut the pistons for valve relief your going to run into trouble and besides you'll run into way too much lift for the application - a 6000lb bronco. maybe when your going balls out on a 1/4 mile...
