anyway sounds like im sticking with the manual for a while.  I don't want to spend the $$ on adapting something that dont need to be done.  like I say I was hoping the '87 setup would fit length wise.

cool I just don't want to cut and lengthen drive shafts, and have to buy adaptor kits.  was hoping that the 1987 setup would just go in.  I can weld anything I need for a cross member, lines a kick down, flex plate and small stuff is to be expected.

the 3 speed with overdrive is what I have in my 1967, it is a 4 speed manual with 4th gear being like .8 to 1 if I remember right, it is what some people call a "toploader"  it originally came out of a late 60's econoline van 2wd.  the bronco websites sell a kit to convert it to 4wd with a dana...

I found a c6 and case out of a 87 bronco on the cheap, and was wondering if anybody knows if it would swap into a 73 without too much trouble,  by too much I mean driveshaft mods, and somewhere I read about a body lift for a c6.  any info would be great thanks!

just my 2 cents but I bought some rear window wiper arms for a late 80's early 90's jeep cherokee if I remember right on the years..... drilled out the rivets shortened them to proper length re drilled and re riveted, uses new style wipers readily available, and the spring tension was better...

well i installed the high volume pump and the 180 degree high flow stat and had the radiator flushed again just for good measure, and the results are in..... it runs great up and down the road all day long never gets above 180. but basiclly the same as before, if i stop and let it idle while...

it has a full time factory fan. i went ahead and ordered up a high volume pump and 180 stat, hopefully this cures my problem. i'll let you guys know how it works, i'm going to moab in a couple weeks so that should be a good test! thanks for the input to all!

has anyone changed thier water pump pully to increase speed and flow for mild temp problems. my bronc dont overheat in normal everyday driving but it tends to warm up when idleing on the trails. the radiator is free and clear, the stat is working, timing is good. i was just curious about...

just something more comfortable i dont mind modifying to make something work but it has to fit between the wheelwells. i just dont have an extra 3 to 400 bones to drop on one of the aftermarket ones from the bronco places. might consider a couple more buckets out of the junkyard.

anybody ever find anything to replace the back seat with? modifying is ok but ive looked the boneyards high and low for like a back seat or third row out of a mini van or something but havent been able to find anything narrow enough.
