    Tire carrier striker rubber

Does anyone know what this thing is called or if there are aftermarket replacements? I've tried searching a lot of different things but no luck. It's attached to the tailgate at the bottom where the rubber from the tire carrier swings into. It appears to have an adhesive backing, but I haven't...

    Interior Optional Trim - Options?

Correct I don't think the windows are tinted at all, so I think you're suggesting overspray would probably be easier to remove? Painting in place definitely sounds like the easiest option. Thanks for the brand / formula suggestions.

    Interior Optional Trim - Options?

I’m just trying to understand what y’all do about these (in my case grey/black striped) trim pieces. I don’t like how they look faded as they are. The one on my dash that says Eddie Bauer is in great shape, but I’m not sure what to do about these. Can I buy these anywhere? Should I do some...

    Ignition Cylinder Issue

Correct, I don't think he actually takes the actuator out here but the video should cover reseating the gear on the actuator. I was able to get my upper actuator disconnected from the lower actuator piece by just forcing it out of place essentially. It's not really made to be removed without...

    Ignition Cylinder Issue

Solved my issue but it became a lot more work than what I intended. My recommendation if anyone gets an issue like this, you can probably get a set of lock picks and remove the bits at the end of the lock cylinder and reset the gear on the actuator, along with maybe greasing everything back...

    Ignition Cylinder Issue

I cannot start it with a screwdriver. I'm starting to think it's the actuator rod. Do I need to pull of the steering wheel and tear the whole column apart to get into this?

    Ignition Cylinder Issue

So the truck wouldn’t turn over, and I eventually discovered the ignition cylinder has seemingly gone bad. What’s odd is that I had already replaced the old sloppy cylinder with a new one a few months back. Cheap parts I guess, so I pulled it out and the cylinder I’m removing seems to operate...

    Cruise stopped working 1996

‘94 Eddie Bauer. Am I understanding correctly that if I replace my center brake light with an LED unit my cruise may stop working? Lights in mine won’t come on and I discovered (by trying to remove it) that it has essentially melted itself in place.

Too Many Creaks and Broken Plastic

Took a lot of advice from this thread and elsewhere on the bronco parts and garage page, used the JB water weld to fix all the broken plastic "rivets" (spots where the door panels were melted together for assembly) I also pop-riveted the window felts to the top of the door panels because the...

    AFTERMARKET STEERING WHEEL OPTIONS

This is not what you asked but I redid the leather wrap on mine, with a brand called “wheelskinz” I think, and it turned out fantastic. For me, it was a lot less work than pulling off the steering wheel and great to keep the cruise control buttons, etc. as you mentioned. Good luck!

Too Many Creaks and Broken Plastic

The door panels are missing numerous clips. In some cases screws had been tightened so far that the plastic gave up and the ***** went through the door, so I can't even ***** them in at all in some spots. I'll check for loose bolts. I'm going to try putting some adhesive foam between the door...

Too Many Creaks and Broken Plastic

'94 Bronco, 5.8L, Eddie Bauer trim. So just a general issue all the plastic in this truck is super creaky. Specifically the doors have a bunch of tabs for the window seals missing, along with a bunch of cracks and things. Dash creaks a lot too, sounds like plastic rubbing against plastic...

    Custom Flip-Key

Success! I took a metal H54 key and I cut it with a hacksaw into the shape I wanted, then finished with a dremel tool. Cut a slot for the set screws as well and made two keys. Working great so far. If I have any trouble with the key getting loose I plan on just gluing it in there.

So I got this crazy idea...

When you say dash pad, what is being referred to? And are you saying there is usually a speaker mounted somewhere in the dash? edit: I had no trouble mounting this floating screen right into the single din on my '94 sony xav-ax-8000 and I love it. I couldn't live without google maps / apple car...

    Custom Flip-Key

Yeah I guess I could try swapping out the ignition and door cylinders for something else, but that would at least be the more expensive option. Still not sure what I'll do but I'll keep y'all posted.

    Custom Flip-Key

Forgot to add: 1994 Eddie Bauer Bronco, 151k miles, 5.8L V8. If anyone is interested in how the wiring went for the control unit I'm happy to share. Short of it is that the door lock actuators have two wires to them, and sending +12V to one of them will lock, the other will unlock. Took a long...

    Custom Flip-Key

Howdy, So I found this universal unlock remote on amazon for $17 so I bought it and spent memorial day wiring it up. The antenna is kind of short and sitting inside a metal door so the range is very short but the key is good quality and I'm happy with it. I could probably move the antenna for...
